For us to create a customized program for you we need to see how your body moves.  It's very important to view your body moving freely and under some form of resistance.  The point of our assessment is to gather information, not find ways to make you fail.

We don't want to find out what you can't do in the gym, we want to find out how to get you to do things you didn't think you could in the gym. 

 
 

The point of an Assessment is to:

  1. Find out where you are right now
  2. Find out where you want to go
  3. Create the safest, most efficient plan to get you from where you are to where you want to be
 

We start with a Functional Movement Screen which will monitor 7 foundational movement patterns.  I am going to look at your function, but I want you to communicate to me how every movement feels.  This might be a humbling experience, but it is not a pass or fail kind of test.  The purpose is not to see what you can’t do.  The purpose is to gather as much data as possible.  

Having my eyes on your movement patterns means a lot, and while none of the movements will end up being “perfect” they will allow me to gather the data I need to create the perfect path for you to reach your goals.  

After the F.M.S we will branch out into more specific tests based on your needs and injury history. 

Although these screens are important the most important part of our Assessment is an honest conversation.  I need to know how you feel during each movement, and I need to know why you want to train.  We'll talk openly throughout the 45 minute process so we can start to trust each other.  I want to help you overcome all the hurdles you've faced in the past.  I need to know all the relevant information about your training history.  

My job is to lay a foundation, or find a baseline of where you right now so I can get you where you want to go in the safest and most efficient manner possible.  We also want to get a clear picture of your diet, daily habits and overall lifestyle.  We take all these factors into consideration when designing your training program. 

The only thing you need for your assessment is workout clothes.  Shoes are completely optional, and we provide the water.   

The Assessment costs $50 and must be paid for at time of booking to ensure both parties respect the other's time.
